He is one of the tousands who have succumbed in the last 35 years to the lure of the magic flippers.  His index fingers are among the strongest on earth.  Other than that, pinball is nothng special to him.  Like wine to an Italian, or dreams to an opium eater, it’s simply part of his life.

Vitus Nov. 9th tournament is rescheduled to Nov. 8

November 1, 2011

Hello All,

Sorry for the last second change of plans, however, due to unforeseen difficulties the 1st Vitus tournament has been rescheduled to Nov. 8 instead of Nov. 9.
What it comes down to is Vitus was able to book a major comedic talent to book a show that night, and since they’re a new bar struggling to establish themselves, they couldn’t turn it down or be difficult with the date.  This meant I had to finish the tourney by 8:30 PM, and realistically with a 7pm start time, it’s not possible to run a tournament in just 1.5 hours.
Even if you can’t make the first one, I’m hoping to make local events a regular thing, so if can’t make it, see you at the next one!

Pin Fix-it-extraordinaire Clay Harrel has put his EM guides back on line.  For how long?  Who knows?  But they’re they are. Get them while they’re hot, I suppose.

The Sands Mechanical Museum a “virtual museum” features this extremely unique “Confucious Say” rotating pinball by Rotor Table Games.  It was made sometime in the mid-to-late 1930s.  Read and see more about this game at their site here.

Uh oh gentlemen, start saving.
