Steve Kordek’s 100th Birthday Party

When flippers were first introduced to pinball, the early games had lots of them and they were placed all around the playfield.   For example, six on Humpty Dumpty, the first flipper game.

Steve Kordek was the designer who reduced the number to two and put them down at the bottom of the game, where they still are today.   He also invented the drop target and other pinball inventions.
