2013 IFPA World Championships
The International Flipper Pinball Association held it’s annual World Championship tournament this past weekend. The tournament is an invitational comprised of the top IFPA point-scorers of the year.
Local player Andrei Massenkoff, as well as friends of the Bay Area scene, Danish players Mads Kristensen and Mikkel Sjolin, competed in the event. Martin Ayub of Pinball News did an excellent job covering the event. Check it out!

It was a great World Championship! Really fun. And the competition was fierce. Everything you could ask for. So cool meeting friends from around the world. Especially Andrei of course – carrying gifts from the Bay Area too. Thanks to Matt of Free Gold Watch for another super cool ELK-tee. And to my capo Emmet for the mafia shirt. Really, really appreciated that. As you can see it came on instantly! :-)
The trained eye will also notice the BAPA wristband…
Next year is in Denver – and Andrei and I decided we will do better (results wise) ;-)
Hope to see some more Bay Area players make it too! Tim? Josh? EGO? Remember – you have the rest of the year to qualify!
