Good times at the first week of Pinball League in the awesome new front room! Leslie Ruckman dominated match play with an impressive 21 out of 24 points. David Ortega defeated Mike Miller on the side event: one-handed, one ball on Doctor Who, winning an Ash vs Evil Dead poster. There’s still plenty of time to join the fun. https://pinballbayarea.com/league/

Pacific Pinball League Season 2!
Hey folks, I’ve just started a new season of the Pacific Pinball League. The league is open to all skill levels and it’s all about fun, friendly competition.
League night is discounted at just $10 and all games are on free play. Additionally, you get a league card that gets you into the Museum any day of the week during the league season (except special events) through November 29 for $10, and a 10% discount on merchandise.
The league meets Wednesdays from 7 – 9 PM (but you can show up as early as you like). BYOB and food are allowed in the banquet room. Also, as time allows, we do mini “learn to play pinball” sessions so if you’ve ever wanted to learn how to get high scores, this is your chance.
There’s no sign up, just come Wednesdays and we’ll get you in!
Wizard Mode: A Pinball Tournament – Results!

58 players, 46 playing in their first pinball tournament ever, competed in the Chabot Space and Science Pinball Tournament! It was a showcase of the Pacific Pinball Museum’s exhibit of nearly 40 games at Chabot, and a collaboration I’ve long hoped would come together between these two great local museums. Gravity ultimately ruled the day (it always does), but not before these players put up a ton of points and had a great time.
The pinball exhibit still runs through September 24, so check it out if you can. And if you attended the event and you want more, consider joining the Pacific Pinball League Wednesdays in Alameda. It’s a fun, friendly league for all ages and skill levels. You can also check out the next Pinball Show at the Golden State Pinball Festival in May.
